Story

The doors to G Asian Canteen were swung open in spring 2023 by chef/ owner Gilles Brem.  A graduate of France's prestigious Institute Paul Bocuse, Gilles cut his teeth at groundbreaking restaurants in Paris and London.

G serves Vietnamese-inspired street food and drink with a French imprint.  Dishes such as the traditional Pho, originally pot au feu, and the iconic Bahn Mi, or Saigon sandwich are staples on the G menu.

G-astronomy.  Bun Xao salad boxes, summer rolls, spring rolls and delicate desserts are on offer daily.  Pop in for a drink from a selection of beers, wines, hand-crafted cocktails and refreshing mint teas.  Or take your time over a slow-drip Vietnamese coffee.

Ecolo-G.  The restaurant interior comprises only second-hand materials, furniture and equipment.  Service features eco-friendly accessories and biodegradable packaging, all of which is ink-free.

Technolo-G.  The restaurant accepts online orders via smartphone, tablet and QR code, providing swift, paperless ordering.  Better for customers.  Even better for the environment.
